Website User Agreement
SGIC’s Online Services provide customer support, corporate information, and other services, subject to your compliance with all of the Terms set forth herein.
Consent to Monitoring
Any activity on the Online Services is subject to monitoring by SGIC at any time. Anyone who uses the Online Services consents to such monitoring and agrees that SGIC may use the results of such monitoring without limitation.
Content / Use Restrictions / Licenses
No content or material from the Online Services (“SGIC Material”) may be copied, harvested, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without the prior written consent of SGIC. It is a condition of your use of the Online Services that you do not restrict or inhibit any other user from using the Online Services. The Online Services are solely for your personal and non-commercial use. You may print and download portions of SGIC Material from the different areas of the Online Services solely for your own noncommercial use, provided that you agree not to change or delete any copyright or proprietary notices from the same.
Except as otherwise specified, you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from the Online Services. Modification of the SGIC Material or use of the SGIC Material for any other purpose is a violation of SGIC’s copyright, service mark, and/or other proprietary rights. You also grant SGIC the right to use your name in connection with the submitted materials and other information as well as in connection with all advertising, marketing, and promotional materials related thereto. The names of actual companies and products mentioned herein or referenced via the Online Services may be the trademarks of their respective owners. Disclaimer and Assumption of Responsibility
By using the Online Services, you understand and acknowledge that, except for information, products, or services clearly identified as being supplied by SGIC (“SGIC Identified Content”), certain information, products, or services available via the Online Services may not be operated, controlled, or endorsed by SGIC. Except for “SGIC Identified Content,” all information, products, and services offered through the Online Services or on the internet generally are offered by third parties. You also understand and acknowledge that SGIC cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that any information or files that are accessible and/or that may be available for downloading through the Online Services will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other code that manifests contaminating or destructive properties.
The Online Services, including any SGIC Material and SGIC Identified Content, made available pursuant to these Terms are provided “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike effort, title, and non-infringement, and SGIC hereby disclaims all the foregoing. You specifically agree that SGIC is not responsible or liable for any content or conduct of any other party or any infringement of another’s rights, including intellectual property rights.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SGIC and its related, affiliated companies shall not be liable for (1) any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of programs or information, and the like) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Online Services, or any information or transactions provided on the Online Services or downloaded via the Online Services, or any delay of such information or service, including as the result of SGIC’s negligence, and even if SGIC or its authorized representatives have been advised of the possibility of such damages, or (2) any claim attributable to errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies on the site and/or materials or information downloaded through the Online Services.
This limitation of liability does not apply if you are a New Jersey resident. With respect to residents of New Jersey, any released parties are not liable for any damages unless such damages are the result of our negligent or reckless acts or omissions; and any released parties are not, in any case, liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Other states may also limit liability. If your state does not allow this type of limitation, one or more of the limitations above may not apply to you.

SGIC makes no representation whatsoever about any other website that you may access through the Online Services or that may link to this site. When accessing third-party websites or applications connected to the Online Services, you acknowledge that such third-party websites or applications are independent from SGIC. In addition, a third-party link to the Online Services does not mean that SGIC endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use, of such third-party website linking to the Online Services.
You agree to comply with all applicable terms, conditions and agreements between you and any third party that provides products or services that facilitate or enable your access to or use of the Online Services, and you acknowledge and agree that your use of the Online Services may result in charges to you by those third parties in connection with the products and services they provide to you (such as data plan charges), and you will be solely responsible for any such charges.
You also specifically acknowledge and agree that SGIC is not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal content or conduct of any user of the Online Services. If you are dissatisfied with any of the SGIC material, or with the Terms hereof, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Online Services.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SGIC, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and its officers, directors, employees, principals, agents, distributors, representatives, proprietors, partners, shareholders, principals, predecessors, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, resulting from your breach of these Terms, including any of the foregoing provisions, representations or warranties, from your placement or transmission of any content onto SGIC's servers and/or from any and all use of the Online Services or your account, as applicable. Governing Law
The Terms mentioned herein shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, as they are applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Florida. Except where prohibited by law, any claim or disputes pertaining to SGIC’s intellectual property rights and certain statutory claims that, pursuant to law, are not arbitrable, shall be subject to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts in the State of Florida, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any and all jurisdictional and venue defenses otherwise available. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
Unless you are a resident of New Jersey, you must initiate any cause of action within one year after the claim has arisen, or you will be barred from pursuing any cause of action.
Modifications
These Terms and any information included in the Online Services may be changed or updated without notice. Such Terms and information may be out of date at any given time since SGIC has no obligation to update information presented in the Online Services. SGIC may also make improvements and/or changes in products and/or services described in these Terms at any time without notice.
